Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the most volumes books collection among the libraries of Moscow from the foundation of the library of the Moscow A.L. Shanayvsky peoples university. There is a brief history of the university and a biography of its founder A.L. Shanayvsky in the article; a review of the university library development is given, and the arrangement of its composition from different, the most distinguished publications from the university collection in the library of RAPA is presented.
