The present day Russian Evangelical Christian-Baptists: social structure and ideology

Abstract

The article analyses the social composition of the Evangelical Christian-Baptists communities, as a part of the Russian Union of the ECB, the attitude of different groups of believers towards the society, culture, rational cognition. The interrelation of the elder generation and the youth of the ECB is under review. Factors which interfere with the development of theology of the Russian ECB are considered. The peculiarities of the world perception of the believers communities belonging to the union of Churches of the ECB are defined.
