Language as a foundation and universal model of culture

Abstract

Adhering to a position of the consecutive symbolic interpretation of the human language and critically assessing semiological understanding of language (as a system of signs) the author shows that from this point of view the native language completely manifests itself as a foundation and universal model of the national culture, as a logos of culture. In this view a link between universal dimensions of the language and basic forms of culture becomes visible. On the ground of the above we may analytically differentiate between poetics of culture, grammar of culture, rhetoric of culture and semantics of culture.
