State civil and municipal administration as mirrored by gender statistics

Abstract

On the basis of statistical research made in 2008 the article deals with the problem of guaranteeing the equality between men and - their legal status, participation in adopting and implementing decisions relating to personal, family, social, political life within the sphere of democratic transformation of the Russian state and society. The article also considers the issue of influence of views and traditions, which assigned a humiliated position for a woman (as compared with man) in family and society, still preserved among those loyal to different religions (Judaism, Islam, some trends in Christianity and etc.).
