From the history of the language to the language of the history: in commemoration of the academician Oleg Nikolaevich Trubachev (1930-2002)

Abstract

The article considers the creative heritage of the academician O.N. Trubachev, an outstanding expert in etymology and onomastics, a prominent Slavonic scholar of this country, who entered the history of the world science by his fundamental works: «Etymological vocabulary of Slavonic languages », « Ethnogenes and Culture of the ancient Slavs», «Indoarica in the Northern Black sea area», and etc. As appendices are given: - article by O.N. Trubachev «Russian and Russian as belonging to Russia: history, dynamics, ideology of two attributes of the nation»; - talk between O.N. Trubachev and Your Eminence Ignatius, the bishop of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka.
