Religion and Bible in the V.I. Lenin's works: a new look at the old theme

Abstract

The article considers V.I. Lenin's notions about diverse role of religion in different historic periods. Despite of the widespread stereotype opinion of Lenin's so-called anti-religious position, the author makes an attempt to substantiate the thesis on Lenin's competence in a history of religion (particularly Christianity), and his well-founded knowledge of Holy Scripture (Bible).
