Abstract

The article characterizes and systematizes the basic means in the creative interpretation of the Biblical themes, subjects and images in the poetry of Karion Istomin. The problems of the poetic style of Karion Istomin and his imaginary similarity with the poetic style of the Mardary Khonikov have been revealed.
