Religion in Russia in early XXI century: installation of the Past?

Abstract

The paper deals with the opinions of several experts, invited to discussions from such significant realm as fine arts, culture and science. The main topics to discuss occur definition of spirituality; observation of the importance of religion for contemporary both human and society; relations between religion and society, religion and law, religion and power; perspectives of existence of religious institutes in Russia. While the importance of religion in the social life are examined by experts irrespectively to any religion, discussion the difficulties connected with functioning of religious institutes, are projected on problems of interaction of Russian Orthodox Church with society.
