Evolution of Siberian Constitutional Democrats ' views on Issues of Religion and National Psychology within the period of the Revolution and Civil War

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the evolution of the Siberian Constitutional Democrats' views. It concerns the matter of religion and national psychology in the period of the Revolution and the Civil War. The greater attention on the part of Constitutional Democrats paid towards the peculiarities of the national mentality, a shift towards the Church, displayed especially within the period of dictatorship of A.V.Kolchak and the reasons behind that are revealed on the basis on the materials of congresses and conferences of the party, Constitutional Democrats' periodical press and archival documents.
