Abstract

Interview with Mikhail Smirnov, associate professor of St. Petersburg State University, author of recently published dictionary Sociology of religion. Interview is devoted to the problem of the current state of sociology of religion in Russia; to the problem of scientific expertise in the matters of religion; to the problem of graduate and post-graduate studies in the field of sociology of religion; and to the problem of perception of religion in Russian public opinion and in state institutions.
