Abstract

On the basis of agiographic material the article reviews the compositions ascribed to John Chrysostom and which are referred to the time of his exile, in particular the conversations “Before the depar-54 ture to the exile” and “When he started for the exile”, sermon “Again Herodias is possessed.” and epistle of the Holy hierarch to the bishop Cyriak.
