Abstract

The materials of the article give the analysis of the discussion “Science and religion about the origin of the Universe”, held by the Institute of Europe of the Russian academy of sciences (03.04.2002) in connection with the presentation 63 of the book “Genesis and Big Bang. The discovery of the harmony between modern science and the Bible”(Bantam Books, 1992) by D.L. Shredder. (M., Jerusalem, 2002).
