On the issue of setting up a historic memory: early written monuments of the Teutonic order in Prussia

Abstract

In the focus of our attention are the early written monuments of the Teutonic order Narration of the Teutonic order start and Prologue to Statute. The discretional study of the monuments is given. A special attention is paid to their ideological contents as well as their influence on chronicles of Peter from Dusburg and Nikolai von Eroshin. The appendix presents the monument text in the original language (Latin) and in translation into Russian with the required remarks.
