Secular and religious aspects in forming and developing the Russian central eparchial town of XVI-XVII centuries

The article considers the role of secular and religious basics in the town planning principles and importance of the church administration precisely. The main role of the Church in developing o a Russian town in XVI-XVII centuries consisted in shaping its social structure, in active participation in its trade and economic functioning (in setting up competition among the citizens of the suburb) in carrying out a number of social and public functions and reforming its outward appearance. It was the Russian parish clergy that maintained especially close ties with the life of a Russian town of XVI-XVII centuries, to be exact with the population of a town suburbs. The Russian perish before XVIII century was a small Zemstvo unit, sometimes a world, it had a state, not only a church significance: the functions of the Zemstvo administration and meeting the religious necessities intermingled in the parish. It is important that these social and religious functions were performed with the participation of the local population not only did they correlated with the outstanding problems of the above.Published
