Social teachings of the new religious movements: theoretical and methodological basis foe the investigation

Abstract

The article analyses the topical problem of the state and confessional relations, theoretical and practical religious studies, the status and evolution of social teachings of the new religious amalgamations in Russia. Methodological approach to the studies of the problem is being worded, the contents and the structure of social teachings of the new religious movements is being revealed, their functions are shown.
