Abstract

The article makes an attempt to substantiate the thesis on geopolitical significance of Russia for the Caucasus in general and its Northern part, in particular, forms and reveals the component parts of the “Holy Russia”, the name of Russia, which entered into circulation both in the domestic and external spheres.
