Abstract

The role and place of the Church, as a network of parishes and communities within the structure of Russia’s civil society, is examined. The author considers the Church as a network structure (network of parishes) and posits that associations of Orthodox Christian believers are a significant element within the structure of civil society and are present in all its main blocs.
