Abstract

The versification of the first five chapters of the Song of Songs, belonging to the New Jerusalem school of canticle is published for the first time as expressed in verse. The historical interpretation is given. The parallel texts of the Biblical and song score are presented, as well as comparison of rhythmical diagrams is shown. The musical implementation is considered as a cyclical form.
