Interreligious tolerance as a basis of harmonization of the state and confessional relations in the present day Russia

Abstract

In the present day Russian society the issue of the pertaining the religious tolerance has become one of the most urgent. The legal and the spiritual aspects of setting up a new system of the state and confessional relations in the poly-confessional regions, the peculiarities of solutions of ethnic and religious conflicts in the context of globalization are considered in the present article. The author proposes to maintain the self originality of the cultures, the ancient traditions and the fundamental values of the individual nations and peoples by overcoming the fragmentation and the discord to foster the religious tolerance as an important rule of conduct for every member of the society, expressing his civil position.
